It always seemed that the greedy developers, corrupt officials, gridlock traffic, poor public transportation, deteriorated public places and lack of open space caused a poor quality of life in this community. But, none of the above compared to the havoc and hardship caused by the threat of four hurricanes. How lucky we were! The weather certainly put our problems in perspective. I hope each of you had a great summer and that you are ready to get back to work as community watch- dogs working together to better our community...
