Community, students, & elected leaders come together on behalf of Little Havana

On Wednesday, April 27, about 150 people attended Civic Engagement & Neighborhood Revitalization: Issues & Options for Little Havana at Cubaocho.  Nine FAU graduate students and professor Frank Schnidman presented their research into Little Havana planning and development issues, including public spaces, historic preservation, affordable housing, food security, and vacant land.  Mayor Tomas Regalado spoke about the cultural importance of Little Havana, and other elected leaders, community members, and activists attended the event.  Learn more:
