The annual Orchids and Onions Event is being held on June 20, 6:00 – 9:00 at Legal Art Gallery in Miami, 1035 North Miami Avenue. Mayor Carlos Gimenez is giving a keynote speach and getting an Orchid for his strong stand against expanding the Urban Development Boundary. We are also honoring a number of people and organizations, including Mayor Cindy Lerner, Laura Reynolds and the Biscayne Bay WaterKeeper for their work this year on behalf of the residents of Miami Dade County. Cost is only $15 so get out the word!!
